Mortice locks
Mortice Deadlock
The mortice deadlock is key operated from both sides and ranges from 2 lever through to 5 lever British Standard depending on the security level required. These locks are suitable for all single wooden doors. If there is need to put this lock on a set of double doors his can be done by a rebate kit supplied independently to the lock. British Standard 5 lever locks are designed for external doors to meet with insurance standards and can be accompanied by a Nightlatch Cylinder Lock (I.E Yale) to keep the door closed when the deadlock is not in use.
Mortice Sashlock
The mortice sashlock is key operated from both sides with a latch British Standard depending on the security level required. British Standard 5 lever locks are suitable are designed for external doors to meet with insurance standards.
Mortice Latch
The mortice latch is not a security lock in itself, the main purpose is to hold a door closed against a breeze or wind. Mainly these are the tubular style but other styles are available, these are fitted to wood internal hinged doors with a pair of latch handles but can also be fitted to double rebated wood doors also.
Mortice Clawbolt
These locks are found in wood and metal sliding doors. They can be operated with either a mortice style key or a Yale style cylinder key. Various sizes available to suit many applications.
Hasps & Staples
These come in various different sizes and range from very low security to very high. There are many applications that the hasp and staple can be used for such as Lockers, Sheds, Vehicles, Garage Doors, Fridges etc. The only downside to the hasp and staple is the fact it isn't the nicest looking security item. Low and Medium security hasps and staples are better for internal use, high security hasps and staples are better for external use.

Oval & Euro
This type of lock is a component, where it is used in conjunction with a mortice the oval is common on Aluminium doors. You can use the euro style on aluminium doors as well, however both styles of cylinders can be used on wooden and metal doors. Both products are standard dimensions in size except for the length i.e. One side to the other, the length can be equal measurement but many are offset.
It is important to know the size when replacing the cylinder. You can buy both products in 3 different formats; Single Sided Key, Double Sided Key And Key or Double Sided Key And Turn.
The security level of the euro cylinder varies from a standard 5 or 6 Pin key to a high security patented key ,giving key protection. The euro cylinder is also available in anti-snap, anti-pick and anti-bump from various manufacturers. The oval is available on different key sections but don't have the anti-snap, anti-pick and anti-bump facilities. There is a range of products that can be keyed the same as another cylinder and also a Yale style lock and various padlocks etc. Satin and Brass are the usual finishes but other special finishes are available.
